COMPANION is pair of images in conversation, selected from the single channel video program for the FYNE 1.0 campsite installation. The pairing of images to create a larger meaning is the basic language of video editing.
COMPANION expresses this "edit" as a pair machine woven cotton jacquard blankets. Like the FYNE campsite installation, these blankets represent an effort to extend the language of video into material and tactile experience.

COMPANION was shown as part of the group show WET PAINT/CONCLAVE at Parenthesis Space in Brooklyn through April and May of 2014.
